React / C# Web Developer
About the role
We are looking for a reliable, detail-orientated web developer to join our company as soon as possible. As web developer you will support the IT Team and communicate with stakeholders to determine website specifications for a variety of projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, coding, and modifying websites and applications according to client specifications.
- Translating business requirement to functional specs.
- Communicating effectively with clients and teams.
- Debugging websites and ensuring software documentation is updated.
- Conducting research and keeping abreast of market trends.
About the successful candidate
You will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, IT, or similar.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a full stack developer.
- Expertise and hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as reactJS, .net/C#, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/ES6, Typescript, JWT, and API’s.
- Confident with UI and UX elements.
- Experience with testing/diagnostic tools.
- Superb interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Innovative and demonstrate a passion for technology.
- Collaborative but can work independently also.
Experience with / nice to have…
- NoSql/DynamoDB.
- Identity Server
- Continuous Integration & Continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Microsoft Power BI
- AWS
- Clean architecture
- Familiar with Design Token / White Labelling
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications

Group Insurance Analyst
About the role
As a group insurance analyst, you will provide a wide range of support services to brokers and insurers while contributing to the continuous improvement of our internal operations.
Reporting to a team leader who will provide support and oversight, you will be the primary contact for brokers and the insurers for the general administration of a portfolio of the insurer's policies. This role will expose you to stimulating work that will challenge you and hone your analytical and problem-solving skills.
At the beginning of your journey at AGI you will be paired with a mentor who will train you in all aspects of the job. They will support the development of your skills, enabling you to work independently and achieve the highest levels of competency.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting insurers with general policy administration services including quoting, annual premium reconciliations, and policy document drafting
- Analysis of client communications to quickly identify and respond to issues
- Accurate comprehension, analysis and recording of policy documentation
- Reconciliation, validation and cleansing of client data
- Providing feedback to managers and IT staff to improve internal systems
- Updating and improving internal procedural manuals
- Ad hoc duties as needed.
